This is a Prison, Glitter is Not Allowed (Emmer, Lowe and Marshall 2011) bridges the gap between community-level knowledge of our experiences of Pennsylvania’s prison systems and the need for documentation and statistical representation of those experiences. Our hope is to provide the information necessary to future organizing. By giving voice to our community members we can better determine the work that is yet to be done.
